Attorneys must notify the coordinating judge, the judge designated by the coordinating judge in the latter’s absence, the judge responsible for cases of long duration for the month concerned, or the special clerk, as the case may be, of the settlement of any case proceeding on its merits and of any contested motion for which a date has been set, as soon as the settlement occurs, to allow a date to be fixed for other cases or motions.
